Marriage is boundless and when one does get married in Hindu tradition, it is unending. In each life, you will meet again, and again. When you get married, you take a ceremonial walk in-front of Agni called ‘Saat Phere’ which means Seven rounds. Each round is a promise both agree to keep.
Here is what each round symbolises:
To nourish each other.
Supporting each other through strength and growth.
To preserve and grow prosperity and wealth.
To create harmony, happiness and love in the home.
To protect and love our children.
To stand-by each other through sickness and health.
To continue to build love and trust. Continuing to walk through life as the bestest of friends.
